9:50am Saturday 28th January 2012
Free guided walks through Haringey’s leafiest areas are on offer this weekend for those wanting to shake off winter blues.
Two of Transport for London’s Winter Wanders walks will give a guided tour of unusual parts of the borough to show off improved walking routes.
Today’s walk starts at Tottenham Hale Station at 11am, following the Lea Valley towpaths through Walthamstow and Hackney to Limehouse Station.
Tomorrow’s route begins at Priory Gardens, Crouch End, at 1pm, following the old railway line to Finsbury Park and then down the New River to Stoke Newington Station.
